Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about Storybook Studio
Does my child need to be artistic?
Absolutely not! Storybook Studio is for every child. Whether your child already loves art or has never picked up a paintbrush, our studio is a safe place to explore, create, and discover a love of making art.
What should my child wear?
We love to get messy! Please send your child in clothes that can get paint, glue, and other art materials on them.
What should my child bring?
Just a water bottle! If you'd like, you may also send a change of clothes. We provide art materials as part of the Storybook Studio Experience Fee.
What if my child misses class?
Whenever possible, makeup classes may be coordinated with Sarah Anne. Students are often welcome to attend another class during the same week, depending on availability.
Is this a drop-off class?
Yes! Storybook Studio is a drop-off class. You'll acknowledge drop-off and pick-up procedures during enrollment.
How does tuition and the Experience Fee work?
Tuition is billed monthly. Semesters run September–December (Fall) and January–May (Spring). In addition to monthly tuition, there is a $250 Storybook Studio Experience Fee due each semester. At enrollment you pay the Experience Fee plus the first month's tuition; then monthly tuition continues for the rest of the semester. Published Storybook Studio books are available separately for $30 each.
What does the Experience Fee cover?
The Storybook Studio Experience Fee helps make each semester meaningful. It covers premium art materials and specialty supplies; mixed media, sensory, and specialty project materials; a personalized Storybook Studio tote bag; a custom student name tag; gallery preparation and professional art display; the Storybook Studio Gallery Celebration; curriculum materials; and special seasonal studio celebrations throughout the semester.
When is tuition due?
Tuition is due on the 1st of each month. See our Policies page for the current late payment policy.
What is your cancellation or refund policy?
After-school classes: families may withdraw at the end of any month. The Storybook Studio Experience Fee is non-refundable. Summer camps: camp tuition is refundable only if the camper's spot is filled by another family. Full details are on our Policies page.
Who can enroll in PreK2–Early Kinder classes?
At this time, PreK2–Early Kinder classes are exclusively for Christ Lutheran Day School students — more openings coming soon. Early Kinder–2nd Grade classes are held at our Storybook Studio off-campus location; the address is shared at signup.
Do you offer summer camps?
Yes! We offer multi-day summer camps and holiday camps during school breaks. Check our classes page for upcoming camp dates.
Is my payment secure?
Absolutely. All payments are processed through Stripe. We never store your credit card information on our servers.
